"These little pizzas are super easy and make the perfect appetizer. They are little pizzas, made with sausage, cheese and a bit of hot pepper sauce on cocktail bread. Men especially seem to like its hearty flavor."

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Brown the ground beef and sausage together in a large skillet and drain well.
  3. Cut the processed cheese into small cubes and add to the meat mixture. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until the cheese melts. Stir in hot pepper sauce to taste. Spread a layer of the meat and cheese mixture on slices of party rye bread. Arrange the slices on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes, or until browned. Serve warm.

These are delicious!!! My family has made these for YEARS and there are NEVER any left over. They are the perfect appetizer to take anywhere. Highly recommended!

My aunt brought something similar to this to our family christmas dinner. I really enjoyed them.

1.21.17 I like the combination of the ground beef and spicy pork sausage (I used Jimmy Dean Hot), but I think this could be improved by adding something to this base. I could see a little spag...
