Tangy Barbeque Pizza

Barbeque sauce is great for spicing up pizza, and this version is a delicious way to use leftover cooked chicken, beef or pork. (Or you can use cooked meat from the deli.) Use your favorite barbecue sauce to make it as mild or spicy as you like.

4 servings

  • ½ cup bottled barbecue sauce

  • 1 (12 inch) partially baked pizza crust

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, beef or pork, shredded or cubed

  • 1 cup canned diced tomatoes, drained

  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Spread barbecue sauce on pizza crust.

  3. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes.

  4. Arrange meat and tomatoes evenly over sauce.

  5. Sprinkle cheese evenly over pizza.

  6. Bake about 15 minutes or until cheese has melted and crust is crisp and golden.
