  1. Preheat grill to medium heat. Meanwhile, place peppers and onions in center of sheet of foil; drizzle with 1/4 cup of the steak sauce. Bring up foil sides, then double fold top and ends to seal packet, leaving room for air to circulate inside. Set packets aside. Mix meat and 2 tablespoons of the remaining steak sauce; shape into 4 patties.
  2. Grill packets 2 minutes. Add meat patties; continue grilling 8 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender and burgers are cooked through, turning burgers over after 4 minutes and brushing with the remaining 2 tablespoons steak sauce.
  3. Place burgers on bottom halves of rolls; top evenly with vegetable mixture. Cover with tops of rolls.

These were pretty good. I happen to love A1 so they I knew I couldn't go wrong with this one. I didn't use the peppers and onions on mine, but I enjoyed the burger anyway and topped it with more...

I've made the same thing with London Pub sauce, Heinz 57 sauce, and even catsup (but that's more like meatloaf). A-1, which I've only been eating for 50 years, is probably still the all-round b...

Burgers are excellent like this, although I hadn't tried it with the peppers before. Awesome. =) I like to add a touch of garlic powder to the meat mixture, too.
