- Line an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with foil. Spray with no-stick spray. In large saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter.
- Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. Cook and stir until brown sugar is dissolved and mixture is well blended.
- Remove from heat. Stir in wheat flakes and chocolate chips.
- Spread into prepared baking pan; chill until firm. Cut into bars.

Substituted Honey Bunches of Oats for the plain whole wheat flakes and cut out about 1/4 of the brown sugar and this was delicious!
Delicious and very addictive! Nice break from crispy cereal bars. I used regular corn syrup, because I didn't have the dark kind on hand!
