Aunt Jane's Brown Bread

Rated as 4.6 out of 5 Stars

"This is an old standby on my Thanksgiving table and on my mother's. It was her Aunt Jane who started it. I like to eat it plain, sliced thin, but I know others claim it's delicious with a little bit of butter or cream cheese on top."

Good, but not what I was expecting. I'm looking for something similar to the brown bread served at The Cheesecake Factory.

A big hit at Thanksgiving and easy enough for the kids to bake. I used mini loaf pans, so I could place cute loaves around the table (of 30 people!). Great with tons of butta!

This stuff is awesome! My hubby was speechless when he put the first bite into his mouth. It's awesome with cinnamon honey butter :)

I really liked the flavor of this bread. It is very sweet, so to me it's like dessert or breakfast cake. The taste reminds me of shoo fly pie. I was surprised that it had neither shortening o...
