- Preheat oven at 325 degrees F. In medium bowl, combine apples, EAGLE BRAND(R) and cinnamon.
- In large bowl, cut 1/2 cup butter into 1 cup biscuit mix until crumbly. Stir in apple mixture. Pour into ungreased 9-inch square baking pan.
- In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup biscuit mix and brown sugar; cut in remaining 2 tablespoons butter until crumbly. Add nuts. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture.
- Bake 1 hour or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping (optional). Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.

Very Good. Used apples from our tree. Only change I made was adding a 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Served warm with whipped cream. Will make again.

This sounds excellent and easy! The fat can easily be reduced by using a low fat butter spread (i.e. Smart Balance).
