{{model.addEditText}} Print- Combine the first six ingredients; sprinkle 1 cup into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan (do not press). Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. In the top of a double boiler over boiling water, cook and stir caramels and milk until caramels are melted. Pour over crust. Top with chocolate chips and nuts. Sprinkle with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate to set the caramel.

This recipe is awesome! I did have to make a few changes, though. I doubled the recipe and used a 9 by 13 inch pan. I used Mrs. Rischardson's Butterscotch Caramel topping instead of caramels,...

Ok...I'd say not enough flour...too much butter and too much sugar...they get oily and crispy, but all together pretty good. I omitted the chocolate.
