Apple-Topped Chops

Rated as 4.29 out of 5 Stars

"My family loves these pork chops. The apple slices and juice keep the meat moist and tender, while the raisins, brown sugar and other spices give it a wonderful flavor. I make this for guests and they never fail to ask for the recipe - it's a palate-pleaser every time!"

This is a great recipe. I have made it twice and my three year old daugher asked for seconds both times. I recommend using tart apples, such as Granny Smith.

Super yummy!! I didn't have the time to bake it in the oven, so I simmered it in a pan on the stove and it turned out perfectly!! Wonderful flavor, Thanks for sharing it!

My fiance enjoyed this meal so much that he said he would pay for it at a fancy restaurant. Delicious...making it again tonight for a 3rd time!

I loved the idea of this recipe, that is why I gave it 5 stars. I always make a few changes to suit my taste. I halved the recipe. I left out the rasins, sugar and basil. I added dried thyme...

Took the suggestion of doing this in a crockpot on high for three hours, and it turned out fantastic. Will definitely make this again.

Some of the best pork chops I've ever had.

This was not a hit in my house, will not make again.
