Cindy's Chocolate Chip Cookies

"My husband and two sons try other chocolate chip cookies and tell me there's no comparison with mine. My husband doesn't even like chocolate! They're nice and crisp...but be sure to not overbake them."

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (dough will be sticky).
  2. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Good basic chocolate chip cookie recipe.

These cookies are really good. Turned out perfect. They turned out kinda small, so I would recommend larger portions of cookie dough. Thanks for the recipe, will definitely make these again! :)
