- In a large bowl, combine the oranges, pineapple, water chestnuts, chicken, grapes and celery. In a small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients. Pour over salad; toss well to coat. Chill 1 hour. Serve on a bed of lettuce; sprinkle with almonds.

My sister made this while visiting and it is by far the best chicken salad recipe! We devoured it. We used left over roasted turkey and I have used chicken also; both are wonderful!!!
Pretty tasty! I think it could have used some chopped red onion. If you're making this for entertaining, I would recommend red grapes over green for the visual factor.
Very tasty and easy to make, I only had canned chicken in the cupboard and it worked great. It would also work great with leftover rotisserie chicken from the grocery store.
