  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add rice and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Cover tightly and simmer for 50 minutes. Cool; drain if necessary. In a large bowl, combine rice, chicken, pineapple, celery, grapes, mayonnaise, chutney and remaining salt. Cover and chill until ready to serve; toss with cashews.

I brought this to a party and it was quite popular - I am also from MN so wild rice is plentiful! I used less chicken and less celery (only because I did not buy enough) and it was great. I used...

I too brought this recipe from Minnesota. It is a favorite of my family & friends. I have made it without the chicken & served it as a side with grilled meat. Nice for a cookout

We thought this was excellent....i had been looking for a wild rice salad recipe...i used black seedless grapes and toasted walnuts...oh, and i chopped up some scallions....made my own chutney b...

this salad was delicious! easy to make with ingredientcs i had on hand & the kids gobbled it up. i did add apple as my daughter requested it in her chicken salad tonight. so good!

This was fantastic! I made it exactly as is. I used rotisserie chicken and Major Grey chutney and sprinkled the cashews on top in a big, clear glass bowl. I should have taken the photo then b...

I used PC 5-Grain Blend (Spelt, Barley, Rice, Kamut Khorasan Wheat & Oats) instead of rice. I also used half the amount of mayo/chutney. Absolutely delicious. Definitely 5 stars.
