Directions
{{model.addEditText}} Print- In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add rice and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Cover tightly and simmer for 50 minutes. Cool; drain if necessary. In a large bowl, combine rice, chicken, pineapple, celery, grapes, mayonnaise, chutney and remaining salt. Cover and chill until ready to serve; toss with cashews.

I too brought this recipe from Minnesota. It is a favorite of my family & friends. I have made it without the chicken & served it as a side with grilled meat. Nice for a cookout
We thought this was excellent....i had been looking for a wild rice salad recipe...i used black seedless grapes and toasted walnuts...oh, and i chopped up some scallions....made my own chutney b...
this salad was delicious! easy to make with ingredientcs i had on hand & the kids gobbled it up. i did add apple as my daughter requested it in her chicken salad tonight. so good!
