Baked Oatmeal Squares

This was tasty, sort of like an oatmeal-based coffee cake. I prefer the overnight recipes (ie, Baked Oatmeal I) because, since you mix them up the night before, all you have to do in the morning is throw them in the oven. This one would take longer, and I'm hungry when I get up in the morning! But it does turn out quite well and makes a lovely dish that I would probably bring to a brunch potluck. variations: I discovered midway through that I was out of nuts, so I used dried apple instead. It worked fine; my guess would be that you can use any combination of dried fruit and/or nuts. I also used a bit more cinnamon.
