  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, oil and sugar. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and cloves; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in zucchini.
  2. Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until cake tests done.

This recipe was absolutely delicious! I used dark cocoa and mini chocolate chips. I served it still slightly warm with vanilla ice cream. A real keeper! Do not be afraid to try this recipe.

This was excellent - very moist! I did omit the nuts (personal preference) but otherwise made no changes. Great way to use zucchini.

I love this recipe! It was given to me by my husband's Aunt Modie. I love the touch of cloves, it gives it that, "What is that flavor?" It is not overly sweet, so if you are expecting that, add ...

This was fab! I omitted nuts and added a cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips sprinkled on top. My kids loved it.

This is really good. I made a mistake by adding the chocolate chips and nuts to the batter but it was delicious. Had to bake more like 50 minutes.
