Michelle's Purple Plum Pie

This tastes fantastic! We think it's more of a cobbler than a pie though. I first mixed the sliced plums with a 1/2 cup of sugar and microwaved them for 4 minutes then followed the recipe. I rolled out the pie shell to fit well in an 8X11 baking dish then poured in the plum mixture and followed the recipe, baking for 50 minutes and not covering with foil. I served it with butter pecan ice cream. Every person at the table (8 of us) thought it was one of the best desserts ever! Thanks for sharing!
