Used some homegrown plums a coworker gave me so all the plums didn't go to waste. It was waaay too tart. I think it was because the plums were so small, about 1and a half inches diameter, and there was so much tart skin in the recipe as a result. Took it to work and no one really ate it and no one commented on it. I personally did not care for it. I think it would be much better with store bought plums.
