Michelle's Purple Plum Pie

Excellent!! Not too sweet and tart just right, great with ice cream or without. I made it with a home-made crust using recipe Basic Flaky Pie Crust on this web site (also excellent recipe), and with fresh purple plums from my tree. I replaced white sugar with brown sugar. I'd say, this is the best pie I've ever tried. My husband who is not big on deserts liked it.
