Chicken-Fried Chops

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, salt, mustard and garlic powder; dredge pork chops. In a skillet, brown the chops on both sides in oil. Place in a slow cooker. Combine soup and water; pour over chops. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender. If desired, thicken pan juices and serve with the pork chops.

This was delicious! I added a tablespoon of Mrs. Dash to the flour mixture to resolve the "bland" comments in previous reviews. Also some onion powder.

This is a very good slow cooker recipe. I did not fry the pork and just added the garlic and mustard to the soup that I poured over the pork.

Very good! As suggested by another reviewer, I added a bit of the drippings from the pan after I browned the chops to the gravy. It seemed to give the gravy a more "authentic" flavor.
