  • In a mixing bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; beat until smooth. In another bowl, combine the flours, wheat germ, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add raisins, walnuts and 3 teaspoons sesame seeds. Stir into sugar mixture just until moistened. Stir in zucchini. Pour into a greased 9-in. x 5-in. x 3-in. loaf pan. Sprinkle with the remaining sesame seeds. Bake at 350 degrees F for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minute before removing from pan to a wire rack.

i agree with previous reviewer. couldn't resist two of my fave ingredients zucchini and sesame and this was awesome. i always leave out raisins and replace walnuts with pecans but other than that no changes. Read More

This bread is incredible!! I can't believe no one has reviewed it yet! Some of the ingredients may seem a little strange, but this delightful bread comes out so sweet and moist, rather cake-like. The zucchini is not noticable other than to add pleasant little green confetti-like specks in the bread. I have been eating this bread for years and there is just about no wrong way to make it (except omitting the maple flavoring, that's a sin). Enjoy this great autumn spice bread! Read More
