  1. In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed).

I like the bread taste and texture; in a 2 # machine, it comes out very light, almost like an Italian or French. I would not bother adding the poppy seeds - they really do not add any flavor to...

Absolutely wonderful. I love this bread. I made the dough in my bread machine and baked it in the oven like Challa bread. Turned out awesome!

Gorgeous. Loved the light texture and eggy taste of the crust. Think the poppy seeds do lend some flavour, plus nutrients and looks good! Best looking loaf I've made yet!
