Tangy Pork Tenderloin

Rated as 3.62 out of 5 Stars

"A simple marinade adds sweet flavor and tangy zip to juicy pork. 'No one will ever guess there are only four ingredients in this sauce,' reports Christopher Bingham of Lansing, Michigan. 'For a spicier version, add more chili powder,' he recommends."

  1. Place pork tenderloins in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow glass container. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; set aside 2/3 cup. Pour remaining marinade over pork; turn to coat. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, turning occasionally.
  2. Drain and discard marinade. Grill pork, covered, over indirect medium heat for 8-9 minutes on each side or until meat juices run clear and a meat thermometer reads 145 degrees (63 degrees C).
  3. In a saucepan, warm the reserved sauce; serve with pork.

Yes, no one WOULD guess there are 4 ingredients... they would be shocked to know there's anything more than dijon mustard! Sorry, but no one enjoyed these at all.

I thought this was a great recipe. My two grandchildren LOVED it and the 10 year old even commented on how good it was. I cooked it in the over at 400 for about 40 minutes, turning every 10 and ...

Positively yummy. I have made this several times, once substituted 1/3 cup molasses for the honey and it was still very good.

As another reviewer stated do not forget the sauce it makes a difference. This was a little to sweet for my taste. I think I would add more chili powder and maybe marinate overnight.

Very good tenderloin recipe with a mustard sauce. I only made half the sauce as I only had a 1 lb. tenderloin. The sauce is very good, but the next time I will increase the chili powder just a...
