  1. In a shallow bowl, beat eggs until foamy. In another shallow bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal and seasonings. Dip fillets in eggs, then coat with cornmeal mixture.
  2. Heat 1/4 in. of oil in a large skillet; fry fish over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Great basic recipe with a lot of room to play. Add whatever you like to your cornmeal such as ceyenne for kick or lemon pepper for extra bite. The only thing I did differently was that I did not...

this turned out real good with catfish nuggets.Next time I would add more spices to the cornmeal mix.Other than that,it was great!

Delicious, basic fry. I would certainly say add any of your favorite spices if you consider yourself a spice-junkie!

The basics of the recipe are sound, it definitely needs more seasonings. I added more garlic powder. 1/2tsp paprika and 1/4 tsp cayenne. Next time I will double it!
