  1. In a bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into six patties. Wrap a bacon strip around each; secure with a toothpick. Grill until beef is no longer pink. Discard toothpicks. Serve on buns.

Footnotes

  • If you prefer, you can bake Bacon-Wrapped Hamburgers in a baking dish at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until beef is no longer pink.

Loved the burger but the bacon didn't get done enough for me and my family. Will make again though.

Great taste on these. They were very "loose" though as they cooked and we weren't sure how they were going to come out, but the end result was delicious and they held together nicely after all. ...

This recipe has become the standard for when we cook burgers. We don't wrap the burger in bacon, but cook the bacon separate and put it on top. Love it!
