This is my new favorite biscotti recipe! I followed the recipe almost exactly. My only tiny exception was the pinch of lime zest I added. It's marvelous - very refreshing. The recipe is very easy. I suggest wetting your hands while forming the "logs" as the dough is slightly sticky. I also used parchment paper as I do with all my cookies. Mine did bake to a very light golden brown in color. These will not get very dark. Thanks for a real winner!

This biscotti recipe is easy and sooo delicious. Because we have to watch our sugars I used 1c of Splenda and 1/2c granulated sugar and 2 3/4 cups whole wheat pastry flour and 1c all-purpose. I also did not have almonds in the house so I used ground pecans. You will not be unhappy if you try this recipe.
I made this and the flavor was good, however I had to bake the "cookies" longer and still they remained a white color! They resembled dried, white clay. I guess I just prefer a light, golden brown color for my biscotti. Flavor = good Color= drab
These are fabulous! I did end up cooking them about 8 min. per side after they were cut. I also used crystal sugar for the top instead of almonds. Very beautiful, and they have a perfect crunch to them!
The flavor of these biscotti were delicious! I did, however, have to bake them longer both initally and to toast. I dipped the bottoms in chocolate after cooling. Very good recipe all in all! Thanks for posting :)
Absolutely my favorite biscotti!!! these are easy but oh so good and very refreshing!! I agree these will be a bake and give as a gift. thanks for sharing!!
This was a great recipe! I forgot the oranges at the store, so I decided just to zest the whole lemon-wow that was great! Next time I will remember the orange, but if you want to try just lemon, that works well too!!
delish! I added dried cranberries and crushed almonds to the dough....the cranberry really complements the orange flavour. yumm. just waiting for them to cool so I can drizzle white and dark chocolate, definitely makes the cut to give as gifts.
These are very tasty, rustic biscotti cookies. I didn't have any almonds or oranges at the times so I made mine with 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts and a tablespoon of lemon zest into the batter. Then, I baked it with more chopped walnuts on top. The only thing though is that these are really on the sweet side. I would definitely up the lemon zest and lessen the sugar. Other than that, these were a treat to make and a treat to eat. I made mine rather small so they could be eaten easily with a cup of hot Assam Gingia :)
I am new at baking biscotti and this recipe was not only easy but delicious.
