YUMMY!!! I whipped this together an hour before dinner. My family loves lemon meringue pie so this was perfect for us. It sat up quick and easily for me because I had no lemonade concentrate so I added one pack of sugar free lemonade drink mix. It gave it the kick it needed and with the fat free cream cheese I used, it made it low fat.
I did'nt read the directions correctly and it still came out great! I used 2/3 cup of lemon juice and then added handfuls ( less than 1 cup) of sugar( I tasted it until it was sweet enough). I whipped it to death!! Came out wonderful. So if you too forget to buy the correct supplies and it's too hot to go back to the store....try this!
I followed recipe exaclty as written and left in frige for over 4 hours, i found it to be quite soft, did not hold up to well. the flavor was OK, but not super lemony, more sweet, kids were not huge fans either.
Excellent. Quick. Easy. Will make again. Only additions were a little more lemonade concentrate and some lemon juice to give it more lemon tartness. Topped with sliced strawberries, blackberries, and whipped cream.
I totally messed this up and it still came out great!!! Used cook and serve pudding instead of instant so it never set up overnight. Last ditch effort was to bake it . Creamy lemon cheesecake. Brilliant!!!
