Chocolate Picnic Cake

Rated as 3.86 out of 5 Stars

"Rich, moist and chocolaty, this scrumptious cake is very versatile. It freezes well...and the chocolate chip topping makes it easy to pack in lunches and carry along to picnics. At home, we like it topped with vanilla ice cream."

This is an easy little cake, but it was kind of dry. I will probably not make it again.

Lovely but not excellent. I doubled the amount of chocolate required and it still doesn't taste chocolatey enough. I think some cocoa ought to do the trick next time.

I've made this recipe several times. It is wonderful!!! Everyone I have made it for raves about it. I followed directions exactly.

This recipe is fabulous! Finally I found a moist low fat chocolate cake. It's also really simple to convert to cupcakes. Follow original recipe, but pour batter into lined cupcake tins and bake ...

This was ok, but not great. The cake was kind of dry. I doubt I'll make it again.
