Caramel-Filled Chocolate Cookies

This cookies may be pretty but I found them to be very blah. Once they cool, the caramel inside becomes extremely hard and you have to reheat the cookie in order for it to even taste semi-good. I didn't have any trouble with the recipe and made them just as the recipe calls without any errors. I am extremely disappointed that I spent so much of my baking materials on these cookies!
