  1. In bread machine pan, place the first nine ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed). Just before final kneading (you machine may audibly signal this), add walnuts and raisins.

I really liked this recipe - the bread came out yummy and light. I used two tablespoons of sugar instead of three and it was the perfect sweetness. I also used regular milk instead of milk pow...

DELICIOUS! Best bread! Would happily make this every day, and the kids love it too. Top sank a bit so will reduce fluid, and maybe try less sugar as very (but not too) sweet. YUMMY

I followed the recipe perfectly (I don't like to change recipes before trying them) and it never rose. I know my yeast is fine so I'm not sure why I ended up with a bread machine full of muck.
