I didn't have any sage on hand so I used rosemary instead. I also used half bread flour and half whole wheat flour. I won first place in our local fair. This recipe is a definite keeper!
I used only whole wheat flour, changed the caraway seeds to fennel seeds, used a fresh chopped onion instead of the dried kind, and loved the bread!
