  1. Mix Ranch and cheese. Cut bread in half lengthwise. Place bread on a broiler pan; spread dressing mixture evenly over each half. Broil until lightly brown, about 10 minutes. Cut each half into 8 pieces and serve.

I didn't care for this at all. Way too much Ranch dressing and so it tasted REALLY strong. Also the topping was so thick on the bread (large french bread split in half) that while the edges of...

I didn't like the combination - I think the use of cheddar cheese is not the best choice. If I make this again I'll change the type of cheese to offset the tanginess of the ranch.
