Rated as 4.09 out of 5 Stars

  1. In a bowl, combine biscuit mix, ginger, cinnamon and cloves. In a small bowl, whisk egg, milk and molasses until blended; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a lightly greased hot griddle. Turn when bubbles form on top; cook until second side is golden brown. Keep warm.
  2. For syrup, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Stir in the sugar, water, egg yolk and lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat. Serve warm with pancakes.

Awesome recipe! My 7 year old ate 4 of them before I had even finished making the batch. I followed other reviews advice and added 1 Tbsp white sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract & 1/2 tsp baking powd...

I made these once when Daddy came to stay with us and we did NOT enjoy them at all. Even Daddy said "You should have just stuck with regular pancakes."

Loved these pancakes. I scaled the servings down to 2 and they were heavenly. The pancakes were a little denser than I anticipated but with the syrup being a little more liquid was a nice cont...

Yummy!

These were fabulous! They turned out light and fluffy and rose up very nicely. The lemon sauce was perfect with the pancake and this was very "desserty" and a little whipped cream would have put...
