Green Beans 'n' Celery

  1. Place beans and celery in a saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil. Cook, uncovered, for 8-10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain. Add the pimiento, sunflower kernels, butter, salt and pepper; toss to coat. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.

I didn't have any sunflower seeds, so I substituted pine nuts and it worked well.

I cooked the beans and celery in the pressure cooker for 2 minutes and then did everything else in the recipe. My company really enjoyed it. It was truly a colorful dish!

Very easy and good! My whole family liked it. I didn't used pimentos, as I didn't have any, but I subbed green onions instead. EXCELLENT! Will make again!
