Tuna-Stuffed Tomatoes

  1. Cut tomato in half through the stem. Scoop out pulp, leaving a 1/2-in shell. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Fill tomato shells with tuna mixture; place on a baking sheet. Broil 3-4 in. from the heat for 4-5 minutes or until heated through.

I tried this the other day and it was very good. The only problem is the tuna cooked very quickly but the tomato was still very firm. I will try to bake it next time instead of broiling

Good idea! I substituted plain yogurt for the mayo and added just a little parmesan cheese. Baked for a little while then broiled the top. Yum!

Great with the addition of onion. A very quick tasty and filling lunch.

Made almost exactly as stated & YUM! Didn't have celery and used diced onion in it. Instead of mixing seasoned salt in w/tuna I sprinkled it on the inside of the tomato. YUM YUM!

I omitted the celery and used cream cheese instead of the mayo. SO GOOD! I also threw in some dill.
