Grilled Country Ribs

Rated as 4.61 out of 5 Stars

"I never made barbecued ribs until I moved to the South. Now I have learned how to fix 'em tender and finger lickin' good. Everyone loves the tasty sticky sauce on these ribs. They're my favorite entree, served with slaw and baked beans."

  1. Place ribs in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1-1/2 hours or until no longer pink. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, saute the onion and garlic in oil until tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
  2. Drain ribs. Grill, covered, over indirect low heat for 45 minutes, turning once. Baste with barbecue sauce. Grill 15 minutes longer or until meat is tender, turning and basting frequently.

These were good. I like the BBQ sauce. It is the middle of the winter, so I didn't grill the ribs, but did put them under the broiler. I'm sure they would have been better off the grill.

These were great! I did what others suggested and used some seasoned salt on the ribs before cooking. I also smashed the garlic cloves and sliced the onion into thick rings and layered it with...

My family loved these ribs. I followed recipe exactly. I will be making these again.

I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This was wonderful. Did exactly as the recipe called (even though i thought 1/4 cup hot sauce was over kill it wasn't), Also I did not grill it but pu...

Very easy and extremely tasty! It takes a while from start to finish, but with very little work. My husband doesn't usually like ribs, but loves them this way and the sauce is so yummy!

Very good and easy to make. I didn't have any hot sauce, so I used a chili type spice. Also didn't grill them...I baked them 1 1/2 hours one day, refrigerated them overnight marinating in the ...

At our commissary, they sell Country ribs already individually cut into pieces with the bone… so we improvised on the cooking time. We cooked the ribs for 28 mins and finished on the grill! The...

We need a ten star on this one! They are great! My ol'man just loved them, meat falls apart beautifully, and the taste is beyond good! Just can't say enough about this recipe ;-)
