These bars are amazing! I noticed other reviews saying that they were dry and crumbly. Hint: don't boil the peanut butter, honey and sugar as it makes the mixture too thick. Put in microwave just until melted and then mix thoroughly. You will end up with nice moist bars. Read More

I tweaked this recipe a bit before making, but it turned out pretty good. I used honey instead of corn syrup, and after reading the previous 2 reviews about how crumbly it turns out, I used 1 1/2 cups of oats instead of 2, and 3/4 cup of cereal. It stuck together much better that way. I also melted the choclolate chips with the peanut butter and brown sugar. Very tasty Read More

did not like them. my kids would not even eat them. i followedthe recipe exactly, and they were crumbly and had a very unappealing texture. I made the Easy Granola Bar recipe at the same time (wanted to compare 2 recipes, see which one was best), and they turned out great. Make them instead. Read More

I am giving these bars four stars because they taste awesome! But can't give five stars b/c they are way too crumbly as some other reviewers mentioned. Next time I will either add more wet ingredients or less try to see if I can make it a better consistency. I also added a small package of walnuts. Very tasty!! Read More

I've been looking for a recipe that has more substance than just the rice crispy cereal, and this did the trick. Instead of using brown sugar and corn syrup, I melted 30 large marshmallows with 1/4 c. butter. Also, I omitted the peanut butter and used it in a glaze on top instead. Turned out to be very tasty! Very crumbly. they didn't completely fall apart, but close enough. I agree that less dry ingredients might be helpful--just not enough to stick to, I guess. they don't taste bad, but I think I'll try another one next time. I used cheerios instead of rice krispies since I don't have rice krispies. thanks for the recipe! Read More

Hey, I appreciate the recipe, but I could tell immediately that it was going to be too dry, so I left out 1/2 cup of oats. Still didn't stick together, even with 1/4 cup condensed milk. Oats are tough, cereal tastes stale--unpleasant texture. My daughter wouldn't even lick the spatula; but my husband liked it well enough to eat with a spoon and a glass of milk (hence, the one star). Fantastic! I can't stop eating these bars! They are really good. I didn't boil my mixture in the microwave, and I think that's what keeps them moist. With that, I would recommend cooking for a minute on high, stirring, and then another 20 seconds-no more! I've made these twice, and wow, I love them. My kids do too. Next time, I think I'll melt the chocolate chips with the mixture. Thank you!!! Read More

I wish I had read the reviews before trying this recipe. Taste was good but the texture was really, really crumbly. I think I will continue looking for another granola bar recipe. Read More
