Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

  1. Place asparagus on a sheet of waxed paper; coat with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle with pepper; turn to coat. Wrap a bacon piece around each spear; secure ends with toothpicks. Grill, uncovered, over medium-low heat for 8-12 minutes or until bacon is crisp, turning occasionally. Discard toothpicks.

Yummy! I did cook this in the oven at 400° for 25 minutes. I finished it under the broiler for 3 minutes to get a nice crisp on the bacon. This was a hit!

This was ok. It was hard to get the bacon crisp without overcooking the asparagus. Use wax paper to prevent the bacon from sticking. I much prefer plain roasted asparagus with salt/pepper/oli...
