After sampling this salad at a barbecue, the recipe was given to me without any measurements. I can toss to together, and it turns out great everytime. -Sara Sherlock Pork Alice, British Columbia

This recipe has been a favorite of our family for the last 10yrs. One word of caution though...You MUST double or triple the recipe as it's very addicting and goes so fast! So quick and easy to make, especially GREAT for picnics!~ Read More

This recipe was great, simple and tasty! The only thing I changed was that I added some sunflower seeds for a little more crunch. This salad was a great side dish for hamburgers. Thanks for sharing this recipe! Read More

I think everyone has their own idea of their "perfect" broccoli salad recipe. This one is super close to the one I make and is my perfect recipe. I add a little more bacon and onion (looove onions)to mine, to suit my personal taste and I add a little more mayo. Delicious! Read More

I have been making this salad for years...always good. The only thing I do different is I use cranrasins and sunflower seeds. I started using the new mayo with EVOO, not so much fat and the olive oil is great..not much of a taste difference. No one in my family likes onions so use just a bit of onion powder in the dressing. I just eyeball and taste test mine..have no idea what the amounts are. But great recipe, had it with grilled salmon tonight. Read More

This was so good. The trick is to TASTE the dressing before you pour it all over the broccoli mixture. DON't put it on if you think it's to vinegary. Add more mayo, or more sugar and fix it before you ruin a bunch of perfectly good broccoli. We added raisins to ours and my 9 year old nearly ate half of a double batch. I was about to omit the onion, but I'm glad I didn't. Its really good. I can't say that I made the dressing to the recipe, but again- TASTE and ADJUST to suit you. Better to toss a few tablespoons of dressing than alllllll that other good stuff! Read More

This is very tasty, and with a few moderations, it's quick! First, I used a whole head of broccoli, and it was just about 1 3/4 cup, second, I used those real bacon crumbles (no making 4 slices, which I would never do anyhow, and no bacon-making mess!), and add green onions. Well it was G-O-O-D! I did decrease the vinegar a bit for personal taste, and the bacon crumbles were peppered so the flavors were just perfect for us. So the next time you can't find any good lettuce, try this salad for a change of pace! Read More

THE ONLY THINGS I DID DIFFERNT WAS USED TURKEY BACON AS IT STAYS IN BETTER STRIPS AND I USED A PURPLE ONION, AND MORE ONION. AS I LOOOOVE ONIONS IF I WAS ABLE I'D GIVE THIS RECIPE A 10!! Read More
