  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F ( 165 degrees C ). Grease a 15x9 inch pan.

  • In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and the sugar. Mix in the egg and vanilla. Sift together the flour, baking soda and cinnamon; stir into the creamed mixture. Then stir in 1 cup of the peanuts.

  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining peanuts over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until edges pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool and cut into bars.

I used a smaller pan than specified because I wanted the bars to be a little thicker. These are best eaten warm (with a plate to catch the crumbs!) with a big glass of milk! Also - it's not noted in the recipe - but use UN-salted peanuts!!!! Thanks - I loved these - the sweetness level was very subtle - which was refreshing!! Read More

This was very thick. The pan size used is wrong you should probably use something smaller. The batter sadly tastes better than the finished product. If you want something good share make something else not this. Sorry to be harsh but it's not that good. Read More
