Chewy Breakfast Bars
- Melt butter in baking pan.
- Melt the milk in the water.
- Mix the ingredients with the butter in the following order: sugar, oatmeal, vanilla extract, eggs, flour, baking powder, cereal and milk. Pat into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Bake at 325 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Slice into desired sizes.

This is a good oatmeal cake but it wasn't what I expected in a bar. It was runny and not the consistancy to "pat" in the pan. I also had to bake it for 40 minutes instead of 15.
These are AWESOME! I LOVED THEM! They were sweet and chewy. You can substitute the cereal with anything you like. I used raisins and they come out perfectly good. Just FOLLOW the instructions an...
