  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Beat butter and 1/4 cup SPLENDA(R) Granulated Sweetener at medium speed with an electric mixer about 2 minutes or until creamy. Gradually add flour beating at low speed until blended. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Shape into 1-inch balls.
  3. Bake 20 minutes; remove from oven and place on wire racks to cool.
  4. Process 2 tablespoons SPLENDA(R) Granulated Sweetener and cornstarch in a blender or food processor; roll cookies in powdered SPLENDA(R) Granulated Sweetener mixture.

Great sand tart.

The taste is delightful. I will make this again for my guests.

I enjoy these cookies with coffee! They are very much a "sandy" cookie.

Tasty but make sure you have some coffee, tea or milk nearby. They don't call them Sand Tarts for nothing!

These are excellent. Very flavorful, but not too strong. Very similar to biscotti.
