Apple Pie Ham

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place the ham in a baking dish or roasting pan and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  2. Roast for 30 minutes in the preheated oven. While the ham roasts, mix together the apple pie filling, mustard, barbeque sauce and honey. Coat ham with the mixture when the 30 minutes are up.
  3. Return to the oven uncovered and cook for an additional 30 minutes or until ham is heated through.

Instead of using canned pie filling, we just cut up apples and mixed with the usual sugar and spices. It smells great when baking nad is very tasty.

I enjoyed this recipe. I used several small ham steaks instead of one big ham. I did however think that the mustard/BBQ mixture was a little too contrasting to the sweet. Maybe next time I wo...

I really, really enjoyed this. So simple! My first "sweet" ham as I usually just cook mine in a can of coke. The sweet apples paired nicely with the tangy-ness of the BBQ sauce and mustard.
