- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
- Sift cocoa into Basic Cookie Mix. Beat egg lightly and stir into mixture. Melt butter over low heat and stir into mixture. Add water and vanilla and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven.

The recipe tastes like brownie chocolate chip cookies. A very picky husband didn't want to share the cookies.

I was hesitant to make these cookies, so I only made enough of the basic cookie mix (scale it down to serve 8) to make these cookies. I chose to only add 1 Tbsp of water and found it was plenty....
