There’s no denying that the fast food war between McDonald’s and Wendy’s is one for the history books. Wendy’s is known for notoriously shady ads that target its competitor in no uncertain terms. However, it seems McDonald’s is getting the next laugh with its new menu additions.

For a limited time, McDonald’s is selling a Bacon Ranch McCrispy sandwich and a Bacon Ranch Deluxe McCrispy sandwich. The sandwiches are topped with crispy chicken, applewood smoked bacon, pickles, and buttermilk ranch on a potato roll—the Deluxe sandwich also includes lettuce and tomato.

Does the chicken, bacon, and ranch sandwich look a little familiar? That’s because Wendy’s has a sandwich that’s nearly identical. Wendy’s fan-favorite Asiago Ranch Classic Chicken Club is also topped with crispy chicken, applewood smoked bacon, ranch, lettuce, and tomato on a bun—the only difference is that it replaces the pickles with a piece of Asiago cheese.

Did McDonald’s intentionally release a similar sandwich to its competitor? Who’s to say for sure. But, one thing is for certain, the new McCrispy sandwiches sound delicious and there’s no telling how long they’ll be on the menu.

The Bacon Ranch McCrispy and the Bacon Ranch Deluxe McCripsy are available at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide. So, if you want to be the judge of who has the best chicken, bacon, and ranch sandwich on the market, you need to act soon.
