10 Recipes That Defined the Decade
When we look back on the past decade, food may not come to mind as readily as pop culture and politics. But we like to think the foods we searched for, cooked, and consumed can tell us as much about the 2010s as, say, the music we listened to. We've compiled a list of recipes published between 2010 and 2019 that reflect the food trends that whet our appetites each year.
2010: Beer Can Chicken
It's the dawn of the decade. Apple has unveiled the iPad. "Time Magazine" has named Mark Zuckerberg person of the year. We listen to Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" a bit too much. And it seems we're "getting crunk" in the kitchen, too, because we're stuffing whole chickens with beer cans.
