7 Air Fryer Cod Recipes

Cod takes so nicely to this parmesan and panko crust in the air fryer. "This was my first attempt at making them in an air fryer, and the results were quite impressive," says recipe creator and Allrecipes Allstar Soup Loving Nicole. 

These New Orleans-inspired po' boys are made with crispy, air-fried cod, topped with a chipotle coleslaw, and served on toasted hoagie rolls. "...the leftover piece of fish I had stayed crispy in the fridge overnight which is something you will not get with a deep fry," says Allrecipes Allstar Soup Loving Nicole. 

"Tender cod is encrusted with a homemade breading and cooked in your air fryer for a guilt-free dinner," says recipe creator and Allrecipes Allstar Kim's Cooking Now. Serve with homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw.  

If you prefer to go lighter on the breading, these cod fillets are lightly coated with sesame seeds. The flavor combination of snap peas, orange slices, and mild cod is so fresh for spring and summer. 

Why have your tartar sauce on the side when you could have it in your batter? "Unlike most air fryer recipes, this one does not require cooking spray or flipping halfway through cook time," says recipe creator and Allrecipes Allstar Soup Loving Nicole. 

In this recipe, a British pub favorite is made without all the oil. Cod fillets are coated in a beer batter and solidified in the freezer before cooking to ensure the batter sticks adheres to the fillets. 

"This super quick recipe utilizes frozen breaded fish fillets and frozen sweet potato fries," says recipe creator Diana71. "It makes an awesome quick meal for kids at home on vacation or who may be enrolled in learning-at-home due to shelter-in-place (Covid-19). Serve with tartar sauce, ketchup, or any other dipping sauce you like."
