I'm a working mother of two. I'm married to my very best friend and couldn't be happier with life. Before having kids, I would spend hours in the kitchen whipping up extravagant meals to see what I could do and to test out my taste buds. Now that I have two kids and am working 50+ hours per week, I have a battle with my menu each Sunday. Cooking has always been my stress-relief but it's hard finding the time these days to cook extravagant meals. We recently converted over to veganism (LOVE IT)and do our best to eat non-processed & organic foods. We are a part of a local CSA and grow many of our own vegetables. My mom always had a huge garden and canned/froze most of our meals so it's important to me to be able to feed my family food we've grown ourselves. I hope to share my passion for cooking with my children and show them how much joy you can get from cooking your own meal instead of going out for one. Seeing them devour the food I've made gives me such great satisfaction.
