Makes a thick and rich sauce that tastes like it took hours to make but comes together in minutes.
Saute onions and garlic in olive oil until soft but not browned.
Add crushed tomatoes and pesto and anchovy pastes.
Simmer uncovered over medium low heat for 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Remove from heat.
Stir in crushed red pepper.
Let cool and proceed with pizza!
