These were very simple to make. Even for me! This was my first time seriously cooking anything, so I was pleased that they turned out. They were absolutely delicious and my family loved them!

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

This was really good, except I used regular milk instead of soy milk and blueberries instead of strawberries, since that's what I had. Flavors nice, but the blueberry skins wouldn't grind up. I also added a shot of orange juice, which added a little sourness to the sweetness of the banana and blueberries.

I made these for my family for the fourth of July, and they were gone almost as soon as they came ot of the oven! they were so delicious I was begged to make more! Now my family keeps asking when I'm going to make them again.

Heavenly White Cake

Great recipe. Mine turned out kind of heavy and thick, but I figured out that it was because I used all-purpose flour instead of cake flour. I didn't use almond extract, but added the extra milk that others have suggested. Great flavor, will definitely make again with cake flour!

This icing is absolutely delicious! Although I'm not sure if it will go very well with the white cake I made, it does taste good.

Cracked Sugar Cookies II

I'm giving this three stars because the cookies were easy to make and they come out looking beautiful. But there is too much shortening in the reci; all I can taste is shortening and sugar. I think using butter instead and using a bit less would work much better. If I use this recipe again, it'll have to be tweaked.

Easy Pudding Cookies

First of all, I cut this recipe in half since I didn't have enough flour. Then, I used Pumpkin Spice pudding instead, and I didn't have any chocolate chips, so I used a Hershey's cookies and cream bar that I had lying around. They came out absolutely delicious! I expected them to be more pumpkin-y from the pumpkin pudding, but they are still delicious! I will definitely be making them again, and trying them with different puddings and choc. chips.

Biscuits for Two

These were really good, I did add some baking soda as someone else suggested. I rolled these out and used them to make apple dumplings, and they worked very well. Will be using this recipe again.

Donut Muffins

These are so delicious! The only thing I changed in the recipe was that I cut the nutmeg down to 1/4 tsp. and added 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon, since I am not a huge fan of nutmeg and I love cinnamon. These little treats are so addictive! I made them last night and cannot stop eating them. I do want to add, however, that mine ended up a slight bit over-cooked, and they were only in for ten minutes.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

These are so good! I did brush them with butter after they came out of the oven, and the bottoms did get vary dark, even with the rack at the top, so next time I will turn down the heat a little. But these tasted amazing; I would even say better than Auntie Anne's at the mall! I will be making these again for my family and friends soon.

Poppy Seed Bread I

The baking time for this is too long - I baked mine for a little less than 50 minutes and it was slightly overdone. Next time I'll shorten it to 40 - 45 minutes. But, other than that, this bread is very delicious, with or without spreading butter on it.
