I made this for some friends with 3 kids who came over for a bbq. Kids ages 8, 5, 3. They loved it as welll as the adults. I used cream cheese frosting, but for a lighter dessert could use whipped cream. This is the moistest, lightest cake!
When he asked for something with chocolate and toffee, I found this recipe and made this cake for my husband's birthday. He absolutely loved it. I made my own carmel sauce as we like it less sweet and more buttery than the store bought sauces. I also doubled the toffee bar. What a hit!
My family loves this chicken! We like the mixture of sweet and spicey so I used extra spicey bbq sauce. It couldn't be easier to make. I even adapted the ingredients to make a sauce for cocktail weenies. They were a big hit over the holidays.
What a great tasting soup! I used hot enchilada sauce for extra spice. I would add a little more broth next time and you really need to watch it so the bottom doesn't burn. I am definitely adding it to the dinner rotation.
These are the best oatmeal cookies I have ever made and ever tased...bar none!! I omitted the walnuts because we don't like them. My husband has forbid me from making them again unless we give the majority of them away because he could not stop eating them.
I thought this was pretty blah.
Loved this dish. It had the perfect combination of sweet and savory. I used fresh sweet corn off the cob instead of a can of corn drained. I just cooked it for about 10 minutes. Next time will use light sour cream and less butter. It was a little too fatty for my taste. Since I will be using less liquid I might bake in a smaller dish to keep it moist.
This is the best tasting and easiest sugar cookie recipe I have ever found. They are a great texture and taste just like a sugar cookie should. I have even been asked if people can buy them from me next year! Grandma Minnie knew what she was doing!
If you like chicken enchalada suiza, then you will like this. I don't have gas stove so I turn the small burner on my electric stove on 4 and then char each side of the tortilla right on the burner. I also use a little more cheese than is in the recipe, especially on top. I bake as directed, but I also uncover and bake for about 10 minutes at the end. I have served this a couple of times to guests and they have loved it. Thanks!
Not bad, but carbonara should have a much more intense bacon taste. Also, where is the garlic?? Here are my changes. Use 3/4 of the pasta. When cooking the onions add 2-3 cloves (or to taste) of crushed garlic and use a good olive oil, not vegetable oil. Use a good smoked bacon and you might want to increase it by 25-50%. Add salt, pepper, parsley, and crushed red pepper to egg mixture before you add to bacon, onions and mushrooms. Speaking of...I used sliced baby bella mushrooms. Okay...I think that is it. Good luck.
This was really good and savory. My family loved it.
