I came up with this concoction knowing that I wasn't getting nearly enough protein in on a daily basis. Of course, fresh fruit can be used, but I encourage you to freeze the fresh fruit prior to making this smoothie, as ice will water down the yumminess of this wonderfully healthy drink.
