Homemade Cheddar Crackers, from my Grandma Rose. I've also tried these with different shredable cheeses and they are all great! Gruyere, parmesan/blue cheese. These freeze well.

Thick spaghetti with a cherry tomato, garlic sauce.
OATMEAL ALMOND CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
These cookies are hearty with lots of oats and a little sweet.
As you are placing them on the cookie sheets, you can form them to make a more uniform shape or bake them as drop cookies.
Do not over bake as they will get really crumbly and too crunchy.

You could replace the whole quartered chicken with 4 large chicken breasts, or 5-6 med sized boneless chicken breasts.
Also, I recommend having 2 bottles of beer on hand, just in case you need to add a bit more to get enough sauce.

RASPBERRY LEMON CAKE
It is best to use a lower intensity, late harvest extra-virgin olive oil when baking which gives a subtle flavor.
Greek style yogurt works well.
If cake begins to brown too quickly, tent with foil.
For the 4th of July, I make this with half raspberries and half blueberries.
